Finally, I went on a longer, more relaxing holiday and had time to reflect on my 2024—a year packed with big events.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who made this possible. I felt like I was living in a dream and kept thinking of this phrase: “Be careful what you wish for, because it might just come true.” And indeed, it did—but luckily, I wished for things that made me happy.

For those who don’t know me, I work as a television director, and as a director for various other live-streaming events and as a multimedia producer in my spare time.

RSI: Sports and politics

Starting with television, 2024 was a year full of major sports events, such as the EURO 2024 football tournament in Germany and the Olympic Games in France. I also had the chance to start producing Ice Hockey matches, which was an incredible experience. The game moves so fast, with many tasks to manage at once, and you can truly feel the emotions involved.

Another highlight of the year was the Swiss National Day production aired on August 1st, where I had the opportunity to contribute and learn during a week of filming under the guidance of the talented director Giovanni Invernizzi. Another great production was the Möbius Prize awards ceremony and conference, where I directed the entire two-day event.

Livemotion: A Year to Remember

Livemotion, a company I hold close to my heart and owe a lot to, gave me one of my best years of production work. Some of the standout projects included:

• The Para-Cycling World Championships in Zürich (10 days in September)
• A Snowboard Parallel Slalom World Cup in Davos
• A remote production for a mountain bike race in Abu Dhabi (from Switzerland)
• A five-stage Mountain Bike series: ÖKK Bike Revolution
• One of Switzerland’s biggest mass-participation running events: GP Bern elite race (10 miles)

Other Projects

Beyond live productions, I was involved in filming, editing, assisting directors on non-live projects, managing two websites, and capturing footage purely for passion.

2024: A Year to Remember

Without a doubt, 2024 was one of the best years of my career. What I loved the most were:

• The emotions I experienced
• The amazing people I worked with
• The incredible images and places I had the privilege to see—memories that will stay with me forever
• Everything I learned from each production and project

Now, I keep dreaming and working toward an even greater future, just like the past year.
